The scenery is breathtaking, the experiences wild and the comforts, well__sublime.

Like our two night stay at Le Quartier Français (Relais & Châteaux), a Provençal-style residence hidden away in the heart of the Franschoek Valley’s vineyards. Our hosts are the owner Susan Huxter and general manager Linda Colthard, whose special touches are seen in everything from the Egyptian cotton bed linens to the creative flair that makes every room so unique and memorable.

We recently orchestrated a trip for a family that took them from an exclusive tour of the limestone labyrinths of the Cango Caves to a discovery visit with ostriches that included braving a ride on these great flightless birds (!).
